Myrtle Beach March 2017 (20)

It’s low season in Myrtle Beach, but that won’t stop you from having fun. The beach will be less crowded, traffic is reduced, and you’ll still have plenty of sunny days and your pick of seafood dining. Ride the SkyWheel, the massive Ferris Wheel right on the boardwalk. The enclosed cabins are perfect if there’s a chill in the air, and the view is spectacular! After, walk the boardwalk and grab a table right on the ocean- it’s easy in the offseason. Walk the beach and do some beach combing, the shells are much easier to come by during the winter. For an up close look at the sea creatures that prowl just offshore, Ripley’s Aquarium offers up a stunning display of sharks, rays, fish and many other sea inhabitants. The Waccatee Zoo is open daily year round and features big cats, bears, monkey, and more. And let’s not forget a signature Myrtle Beach activity- golf. The winter offers up great golfing weather, and if you’re from a northern climate, you’ll think the cooler temps on a bright sunny day might even be perfect for hitting the links.
