RTX Traveler Magazine Issue 21 | Rangeley, Maine

RTX Traveler: Letter from the EditorRTXTraveler_Rangeley_August2018_Digital_Page_01

Let’s talk about change. Yes, we’ve mentioned it before a time or two in this magazine, but here we are again. At RTX we’ve always taken pride in being adaptable to change. When our company was formed in 2012, it was created because we knew timeshare owners wanted a change when it came to their exchange options. With advances in technology that evolve faster than most news agencies can keep up with, we have always evaluated, addressed and adjusted our technology resources, both those used behind the scenes and those we provide to our members.

We recently had a big change in leadership at RTX. Kyle Smith took on the role of Vice President of Operations for the company in May. Kyle previously held an inventory management position at RTX and has experience in a leadership role with our industry partner, VacationCondos.com. We sat down with Kyle recently to ask about some of his plans for RTX and how customers will be impacted. As it turns out, he’s already implementing some positive change. Here’s some of what Kyle had to say:

“Moving forward, we’re going to place an emphasis on improving the tools our team members have available to provide top-notch service to our members. We have engaged a professional customer service training team and will be investing in our employees, which will make our customers’ experience even better. We’ve already started taking an in-depth look at existing software and processes to identify areas we can improve.

Another area of focus is our Resort Partnership team. We will be maintaining existing relationships and seeking new resort partners with the goal of making new and exciting locations available to RTX members. As we continue to bring more members and resort partners into our portfolio, the options available to all members just get better. We are very excited for 2019 and beyond!”

While we are thrilled about these changes, some things do stay consistent. Since the early days in 2012, RTX has made flexibility and customer service its central focus when developing its products and membership features. Kyle has no plans to change either of those things.“One thing that all members can continue to expect is the exceptional customer service that RTX strives to provide its members every day. We understand that our members are the key to our success, so the emphasis is always centered around customer expectations and experience.”

Another thing that has stayed consistent over the years is that our members love to travel to amazing destinations, and this issue’s feature of Rangeley, Maine, will not disappoint. Here you’ll find the quiet beauty of a lake sunset, the exhilarating thrill of winter sports and the open friendliness of small-town locals.

We hope you enjoy this issue of RTX Traveler Magazine, and are as excited as we are about the changes happening – and the things that will stay the same.
