RTX Traveler Magazine Issue 19 | Cancun

RTX Traveler: Letter from the Editor

It’s hard to believe that another year has passed and we’re publishing our first issue of 2018. We’ve had the featured destination for this issue, Cancun, planned for quite some time now, and it’s exciting to see it brought to life through the vibrant imagery and colors on the pages that reflect the richness of the lifestyle and culture in Cancun.

We chose to highlight the all-inclusive experience in this issue, as it’s something widely available at resorts in Cancun and throughout Mexico and the Caribbean, yet not a lot of timeshare owners take advantage of the option. Most all-inclusive resorts have a variety of options for restaurants and activities to choose from within their plan. Some may have different levels of all-inclusiveness so that you can still explore the area for some meals, but have at least one or two guaranteed at the resort. If you have kids, or if you want to truly relax and experience full service at its finest, I encourage you to give an all-inclusive resort a try.

Beyond the luxury resort experience, Cancun has so much to see and explore. Ancient ruins, picturesque beaches, stunning snorkeling and enchanting islands can all be experienced on a Cancun vacation. This time of year, when it feels like winter is never ending, is a great time to start daydreaming about the sun, sand and sea in Mexico.

Speaking of Mexico, we’re thrilled to share that RTX now has a partnership with AMDETUR, the Mexican Association of Tourism Development. Tourism in Mexico is booming, particularly in the vacation ownership sector. Partnering with this agency will help us send our members on vacation to the best resorts in Mexico. We are excited for this opportunity for our members as well as the industry.

On a slightly different note, I’m personally pleased to announce that the team that produces RTX Traveler magazine has transitioned from RTX to Resort Hospitality Solutions, Inc., (RHS) where we will continue to work closely with RTX to produce the magazine and provide owner communications, marketing and social media services. We are also expanding our services to other companies in the vacation ownership industry, and we are forever grateful to RTX for providing us the support and flexibility to grow and increase our capabilities and services over the last five years.

We hope that you enjoy this issue of RTX Traveler Magazine featuring Cancun, and we wish you many happy vacations in 2018.
