While Park City is often recognized as a world-class winter resort destination, summers here are truly magical.  Perfect temperatures, 400 plus miles of easy-access trails, outdoor deck dining galore, and let us not forget the plethora of live music and outdoor concert venues.  Park City and Summit County’s live music scene is booming, and includes something for every budget and every taste.

PARK CITY MOUNTAIN’S LIVE MUSIC SERIES
When: Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays throughout the summer, starting in May
Where: Park City Mountain Village
Enjoy live music on Friday and Sunday evenings at their Park City Base Area at Legends Bar and Grill, and on Saturday evenings on the PayDay pad.

DEER VALLEY CONCERT SERIES
When: Throughout August and September
Where: Deer Valley Resort’s Snow Park Outdoor Amphitheater
The series kicks off in August and each show will feature three seating options – general admission lawn, general admission floor, and reserved seating.

DEER VALLEY MUSIC FESTIVAL – SUMMER HOME OF THE UTAH SYMPHONY/UTAH OPERA (USUO) When: Throughout the summer, starting in June
Where: Deer Valley Resort’s Snow Park Outdoor Amphitheater/various locations throughout Park City
Enjoy a unique variety of classical, chamber, and pops music. Deer Valley offers a variety of delicious concessions during these performances, or, if you’d rather, bring your own picnic basket and your favorite beverages into the venue.

ST. REGIS BIG STARS BRIGHT NIGHTS, A PROGRAM OF THE PARK CITY INSTITUTE 
When: Throughout the summer, starting July
Where: New venue TBD
This year’s concert series features Grace Potter, Bruce Hornsby and the Noisemakers, and the Los Lonely Boys. Seating includes reserved options as well as general admission on the lawn where it is BYOB – bring your own blanket (and beer!)

DEJORIA CENTER SUMMER CONCERTS
When: Throughout the summer
Where: Dejoria Center, Kamas
Located about 15 minutes from Park City, this one-of-a-kind event destination offers a variety of concerts throughout the summer, some of which are free. The 1,100-acre ranch also offers guided outdoor adventures from relaxing to adrenaline-pumping.

EGYPTIAN THEATRE 
When: Throughout the summer and fall
Where: The Egyptian Theatre, 328 Main Street. Located on Historic Main Street, the Egyptian Theatre is a Park City staple that hosts concerts and plays throughout the year.

Park City Mountain Resort – There is always something going on at Park City; whether it’s a concert in the Forum or a skiing or riding competition up on the mountain. Sometimes, it’s both!
