Travel Tips-Cancun

High season in Cancun runs from mid-December to March. Watch out for spring break, when thousands of college students roll into town, creating quite a different atmosphere than the norm. Low season is May to November and runs hand in hand with higher temperatures and humidity, but also lower prices and crowds. Expect it to be hot and humid year-round, with temps rising in the summer, and afternoon or overnight tropical thunderstorms. The forecast may call for rain every day, but don’t worry, there is plenty of sunshine as well, and the rain may miss you and strike inland.
