RTX: At Your Service

Here at RTX, we like to be at the forefront of customer service. This is why we not only upgraded our phone system this fall, we upgraded our personalized service. Both are now tops in the industry. First, our phone system at RTX has been upgraded to a state-of-the-art system from Five9, the leader in call center software. This arrangement is usually reserved for much larger companies, and now RTX has upgraded to the pinnacle in phone service.

What does this mean for you when you call RTX? Phone reps can now access your travel information a lot faster – your account is tied to your phone number and will be on their screen as soon as you call in. This reduces call time and gets you what you want, a lot faster. You also may have noticed there’s also a new callback feature. Instead of waiting on hold, simply press a button when prompted, and your place in line will be automatically saved. After you hear the confirmation, just hang up and a travel representative will call you back when your place in line is up. No more waiting on hold. It’s just one of the ways we’re invested in keeping our customers happy.

RTX At your serviceOur other announcement has flown under the radar but is just as important. Nearly two years ago, we formed the position of Vacation Consultant at RTX. When you enter a custom search, these phone representatives will work tirelessly and scour our inventory, making every effort possible to get you the week you want.

We love the service our Vacation Consultants provide so much, we are renaming them to Exchange Concierges. And they definitely live up to the fancy new name – whenever you call in regarding a search, you’ll be assigned a single Exchange Concierge who will work with you throughout the search. That’s right, call in for a custom search and your Exchange Concierge will be your contact for the duration of the search, whether it takes two days or two months. (The average time to fulfill a request is 3.5 days.)

If something comes up and you need to modify your search, simply call your Exchange Concierge at their extension. They’ll be familiar with your preferences and will be able to provide personal service. Exchange Concierges are available to Premium and Premium Plus members, and no other exchange company lets you work with the same person for your booking, no matter how long we’re searching for your week. It’s just another way that RTX is offering exemplary customer service and getting you on vacation where you want, when you want.
