Main Drag of Myrtle

It’s an intoxicating cocktail of fun- take perfect summer weather, a busy boardwalk, kitschy souvenir shops, bars and restaurants, and live music, and you have the recipe for the perfect trademark Myrtle experience. Whether it’s your first of fiftieth time to the famous Myrtle strip, here are the can’t miss adventures to be had.

Myrtle Beach Strip (28)

RipTydz Oceanfront Grille and Rooftop Bar

This massive 17,000 square foot, 500 seat restaurant and bar opened in 2017 on the north end of the strip. It overlooks the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk and has sweeping views of the beach, just beckoning you in for a good time. There’s an indoor and outdoor dining area and deck, and a rooftop bar with live music nightly.

SkyWheel Myrtle Beach

A climate-controlled gondola ride nearly 200 feet in the air is a great way to see the extent of Myrtle Beach and the downtown area. Located in the heart of the boardwalk, you can marvel at a beautiful sunset, the twinkling city lights at night, or the dazzling, sunlit ocean.

Fun Plaza

Right on the strip, Fun Plaza has vintage and modern games for all ages. Skee ball, vintage parlor baseball games, basketball and games of chance, this is a fun diversion accessible street side or from the boardwalk.

Plyler Park

Just south of the SkyWheel, Plyler Park is a gathering place full of live music, entertainment, and fun. Every night of the summer, from early June to early September, the park comes alive with Hot Summer Nights, a free live music and family-friendly entertainment zone. Vacation goers enjoy a kid’s carnival, fireworks, a DJ, karaoke, and a game show night depending on when they visit throughout the week.
