Introducing Timesharing Today

At RTX, we find it’s important to form relationships with organizations that are focused on benefitting timeshare owners and their overall experience with timesharing, not just their exchange membership. The industry is always changing, and there are many topics that may seem daunting but can be easily navigated with advice and assistance from those in the know.

We’ve seen evidence that the most educated owners are the happiest owners, and we want to do all that we can to ensure that RTX members are fully informed and have all of the resources available to understand not only their RTX membership, but their timeshare ownership as a whole. To that end, we have invited Shep Altshuler, publisher of TimeSharing Today (TST) and president of the Timeshare Board Members Association, to share a little bit of information about his publication and the way it can benefit owners.

Cabins at Green Mountain (73)

TimeSharing Today (TST) began publishing in 1991 as The Independent Voice of Vacation Ownership. As owners ourselves, we found it difficult to communicate with other owners, to find answers to important questions and to locate trusted sources. Soon thereafter, TST emerged as the leader in providing valuable, in-depth information about the good and the bad in the industry. We have observed the continued proliferation of scams and have found that consumer awareness is the best approach to keeping owners from becoming victims.

Of critical importance is our coverage of issues dealing with resort governance and timeshare Board Member and management responsibilities. Our members stay informed through TimeSharing Today magazine, published bi-monthly, available as both a printed and digital edition; TimeSharing Today Express, our monthly eNewsletter; TST Broadcasting featuring informative podcasts and videos; and our blog. We welcome articles from timeshare owners about their experiences in timesharing and from industry experts to help members get the most out of their ownership. At TimeSharing Today, your opinion really does count. To find out more visit
