History, museums and arts are the main attractions in Williamsburg. Wander the historic, haunted streets of Colonial Williamsburg, or explore Jamestowne and Yorktown to get a taste of what life was like when settlers were starting out in America. Nearby Busch Gardens and Water Country USA provide thrills for all ages, and numerous area trails offer walking and biking. A variety of top-rated restaurants wait to satisfy hungry travelers.

Palm Springs, California

Take a nostalgic trip to California’s sunny desert oasis and visit chic hotels, more than 100 top notch golf courses, and contemporary art galleries, all while taking in the city’s trademark mid-century modern American architecture. This former playground of the Hollywood elite offers more than just lazy spa days: take a ride 6,000 feet up Chino Canyon on the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway, or for the more rugged individual, the nearby Coachella Valley has horseback riding, hiking and biking in the stunning desert landscape.

Brian Head, Utah

With an elevation of 9,800 feet, Brian Head claims the title of highest resort town in America, and also the highest city in Utah. An average July high temperature of 70 degrees means summer activities such as hiking, biking, and off-road ATV riding won’t leave you sweating. Nature lovers can explore nearby Bryce Canyon and Zion Canyon National Parks for spectacular views of the geologic wonders underfoot.

Sedona, Arizona

Frequently listed among America’s most beautiful places, Sedona lies in a geological, natural wonderland. Nature lovers can frolic in the surrounding 1.8 million acres of national forest land which offers endless desert vistas, hiking and biking trails, and off-road Jeep trails. Explore Cathedral Rock, Bell Rock, and the Chapel of the Holy Cross for unique sights in the red rock canyons. It’s not all rugged though, as Sedona offers a strong wellness atmosphere, with plenty of shopping, art galleries, and Native American history to satisfy any guest.

Dunedin, Florida

Endless sunshine and white sand beaches characterize Dunedin. There’s a lot going on here for the sun lover, such as bird watching, collecting sea shells, fishing, sailing, and kayaking. Caladesi Island State Park is a completely natural island along the Gulf Coast, and was voted America’s Best Beach in 2008. Honeymoon Island offers great beachgoing as well. Step away from nature easily, and visit nearby Tampa and St. Petersburg. Local attractions include the Salvador Dali museum, the Big Cat Rescue with more than 100 exotic and endangered big cats, and the Florida Aquarium, boasting starfish and ray touch tanks.
