Employee Profile | Corina Violette, Director of Resort Partnerships

employee profileTELL US ABOUT YOURSELF: WHEN DID YOUR CAREER IN THE TIMESHARE INDUSTRY BEGIN?
It all began in Williamsburg, VA, where I was hired as an Off Property Contact (OPC) 12 years ago. I never would have imagined that my part time position while in college would turn into a career and the position that I hold today. I have several years of experience in customer service, operations, management, and leadership, serving on a number of committees with American Resort Development Association and as a Vice President on the board of directors of the Cooperative Association of Resort Exchangers, all of which are directly related to the growth and success of RTX.

DESCRIBE YOUR JOB AND HOW IT MAKES THE RTX CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE BETTER.
As the Director of Resort Partnerships, I am responsible for securing partnerships with developers, management companies, and resorts. I attend several industry events as well as present at annual meetings of resorts to educate owners on the additional options for exchange. This creates exposure for RTX, bringing on new members and new resorts for members to choose for their next vacation.

DESCRIBE THE PROCESS OF ACQUIRING NEW INVENTORY AND RTX RESORT EXCHANGE PARTNERSHIPS. WHAT CRITERIA DO YOU LOOK FOR?
It all begins with our current owner base. Where is the demand? Where do our members want to go and how often? With those couple of questions in mind begins the research process, followed by the vetting process. Resorts that are introduced into the RTX network have strict guidelines that they must follow as RTX holds a level of standards for its members. We take our survey scores seriously and need our members’ feedback, so after every vacation that you take with RTX, be sure to fill out our quick survey so we’re able to properly deliver a better customer experience for years to come.
