Busch Gardens: Williamsburg, Virginia

A top RTX exchange destination, Williamsburg offers vacationers the opportunity to experience the best of the past and present all in one trip. Just down the road from Colonial Williamsburg, a living museum depicting life in the late 1700s, are the high tech thrill rides of Busch Gardens Williamsburg.

Opened in 1975, the European-themed adventure park is 350 acres of action packed family fun with more than 50 thrill rides, world-class dining and shopping options, kid-friendly attractions and exciting special events.

While Busch Gardens Williamsburg has been named the world’s “Most Beautiful Park” for 25 consecutive years, it’s award-winning thrill rides like Alpengeist, Apollo’s Chariot and Griffon that lure coaster junkies from around the globe. Of course the park is not just for the big kids. The Land of Dragons and the recently added Sesame Street Forest of Fun provide endless excitement for the little ones, including 10 rides, interactive activities and the chance to meet and greet characters such as Big Bird, Elmo and Grover.

There are also a variety of festivals that bring a vibrant atmosphere to the park throughout the year. Silver Dollar City: Branson, Missouri

WildfireOpened in 1960, Branson’s Silver Dollar City theme park is undoubtedly the area’s biggest attraction. The 1880s-style, hillbilly-themed facility boasts five world-class roller coasters, four water-themed rides, and musical and craft performers from around the globe during such festivals as World-fest, the Bluegrass & BBQ Festival and National Harvest Festival. Thrill seekers will enjoy the park’s newest roller coaster Outlaw Run, winner of the 2015 Golden Ticket Award for Best New Ride in the country.

Dollywood: Gatlinburg, Tennessee

Only 15 minutes from Gatlinburg, Dollywood is a must visit for anyone vacationing in the area. With more than 30 live musical performances daily, thrill rides and countless shopping and dining options, the country-themed park offers something for everyone.
