Whether you have been shredding the slopes all day, conquering the local mountain bike trails, hiking or partaking in the multitude of water sports available, one is bound to work up quite an appetite. Luckily Lake Tahoe’s restaurant options are seemingly endless, from upscale fine dining with a view to all-you-can-eat buffets and local diners that allow you to bring your dog along. There truly is the perfect meal out there for everyone.

This Incline Village hot spot has been in business for more than 20 years and is the go-to place for quick and tasty rotisserie meats with a Latin flair. T’s serves chicken, pork and beef tri-tip rotisserie plates served with various salsas, sauces and tortillas. They also have the classic tacos and burritos.


The spot for breakfast in Truckee, Squeeze In has been featured on the Food Network for its renowned huge omelets. Named after local regulars who invented them, the 62 varieties of omelets offered feature almost every ingredient conceivable, from shrimp, avocado and pesto, to standbys like bacon, onions and cheese.

Situated in the middle of downtown Truckee,  this charming northern Italian restaurant is outfitted with a full bar on the lower level and a dining room on the mezzanine. Popular selections include eggplant bruschetta, linguine with shrimp, mussels, and clams, or double-cut lamb chops in a minty pesto sauce.

Sushi restaurants in the region are known for their all-you-can-eat menus, and Hiro Sushi is one the best. Located in Kings Beach on the North Shore, the small and unassuming sushi bar is a local favorite and serves what many consider the freshest fish in Tahoe.
