Banff, Canada | RTX Traveler Magazine Issue 13 | Canada

In issue 13 of RTX Traveler Magazine, we feature beautiful Banff, a haven in the Canadian Rockies where visitors love to enjoy the Banff National Park’s stunning mountain vistas, explore underground caves and glacier-fed lakes, soak in the Hot Springs or take in one of many festivals that keep folks entertained throughout the year.

Located adjacent to Banff National Park and 15 minutes outside the town of Canmore, RTX members are invited to stay at the Banff Mountain Gate Resort, a rustic, natural retreat in the majestic pines of Pigeon Mountain at the foot of Lougheed and Windtower Mountains. The resort is located in true wilderness at the end of an old fire road, with abundant wildlife roaming the valley nearby. See deer, elk, coyotes, bears, and even cougar if you’re lucky. Lose yourself in a challenging hike right out the back door – Centennial Ridge is the highest maintained trail in the Canadian Rockies and offers incredible views and an elevation gain of more than 5,000 feet.

And right now is an excellent time to plan a vacation to our northern neighbor.
